The Dragon Class World Championship is an international yachting event hosted every two years by the International Dragon Association.
This event will be the first Dragon World Championship held in Asia and will be raced in November 2026. The Dragon Class have been sailed in Hong Kong for 93 years.
Predicted to be one of the largest and most eagerly anticipated World Championships for the International Dragon Class in many years, more than 90 yachts are expected to join this highly coveted event, with 270-plus sailors from 22 countries descending upon Hong Kong in November 2026.
Racing will take place near the Ninepins Group of Islands off Clear Water Bay, east of Hong Kong, providing uninterrupted offshore conditions over an area of 8 nautical miles.
Boats will be hosted in the marina of the Official Regatta Partner, The Clearwater Bay Golf and Country Club.
Racing will be broadcast to spectators along the Wan Chai waterfront.
